Episode 1: The Way Back

Sunday brings it's usual challenge.
I always have that dread of Monday and the working week looming on the horizon.
At least I no longer have to watch 'Last of The Summer Wine' and have a bath, because it's school tomorrow, but there's still a bit of that in there somewhere I suppose.

As usual, Saturday brought me comics and snacks. The best of which below....

Absolute Batman #1 was pretty good, but I don't really need another Batman.
The one's that I already have in Batman, Detective Comics and World's Finest are more than enough for me right now. Yes, the art was great and the storyline was good, but as GeekyOlHog said in his Youtube review https://tinyurl.com/4vuf3v6w it didn't have to be Batman.
Precious Metal from Image Comics is still a visual masterpiece and has to be in line for the same hardcover treatment that Little Bird got. Issue 5 was simply stunning.

I also laid my hands on The Great When, the latest novel from the Master Wizard himself, Alan Moore, and so far it's totally all up in my street.
Arthur Machen's short story 'N' is a must read anyway, but I feel that it's even more important that you read it before Moore's latest.

Anyway, time to bag and board.
